Welcome to Kindermusik with MEA, a place where children and the young at heart can explore and grow through music. If you are a parent or caregiver looking for something fun and meaningful to do with your baby, toddler or preschooler, then you have come to the right place!
Classes for babies 0-18 months
Babies and caregivers will learn songs, dances and explore a variety of instruments designed to enhance baby's brain development. Click on the "Village" logo for a video demonstration of a Kindermusik "Village" class.
Classes for toddlers 18 months- 3 1/2 years
Toddlers and caregivers will manipulate small percussion instruments, learn songs and movements to help a toddler with her developing motor skills. Click on the "Our Time" logo for a video demonstration.
Classes for preschoolers 3 1/2 years - 5 years
Preschoolers, with their growing independence and language skills, are now ready to explore music on their own in a classroom setting. They will explore music through imaginative play and develop important skills that will help them master the transition to full day school Click on the "Imagine That" logo for more information.
Class Schedule and Location MEA is currently offering classes in Ottawa, Petawawa and Pembroke at the following times and locations If you do not find a class that suits your schedule, please contact me and let me know what times would work for you. As the program expands, I will be offering classes at different times.

The Teacher with MEA
Marion Elizabeth Arthur (MEA), licensed Kindermusik Educator, has passionately performed music for over 20 years and has shared her love of music through teaching for the last 10 years. She plays a variety of instruments including cello, guitar, piano and voice. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Cello Performance from the University of Toronto and certificates in Suzuki Music Education from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She mentored as a Kindermusik Educator with a "maestro" program in Richmond Hill , Ontario. Marion is an accomplished singer and songwriter and has earned a number of awards for her cello playing and songwriting. She lives in Ottawa, Ontario and travels throughout the valley and Ottawa to teach and play. One of her greatest joys is making music with her 9 year old son, Gryphon.
contact Please send me a message telling me your name, location and the ages of children you are interested in registering. I will then send you specfic information regarding the cost of the program and when you can join a class. The cost of programs vary, but generally classes are approximately $12 per class plus the cost of "home materials" that include high quality CD's. books and instruments for continued music fun at home. Kindermusik with MEA offers a special program specifically designed for daycare, kindergarten and playgroups. For a small fee per child, children can experience the joy and educational benefit of "ABC Music and Me", an award winning early childhood music education program for children ages
2-4 and 4-6. We can travel anywhere within the Ottawa and Pembroke areas.
